Good frizz control - finally!
Excellent product! I mix it with Be Curly curl enhancer and I'm really pleased with the result. I've tried so many different products in an attempt to stop my hair from looking like a loofah and this might possibly be The One. I've yet to put it to a really rigorous test (tropical rainforest, Kew Gardens in July, etc) but my hopes are high. As other reviews have pointed out, it's not without a fragrance, but I like it. Also, despite being a gel, it doesn't leave your hair stiff or sticky so it's not the 80s throwback you might suspect. I would recommend this, and I think a bottle will last for ages, so great value.

Change of ingredients?
I loved this flaxseed gel! Just received an order *from JLP..notice it no longer contains any.Replaced with castor oil and glycerin higher up the ingredient list. I'm trying to avoid glycerin products in this warmer weather, as they play havoc with my curls. Are these the new ingredients? I really need an answer, do not want to waste money on yet another product that does not hold curl in warm weather, and result in the dreaded frizz head. By the way, nobody appears to be advertising new ingredients list online.

Great styling product
I'm fairly new to Aveda and have been impressed with the products purchased so far. I've been looking for a product to style my shoulder-length hair that would smooth the length and create curl at the ends and definition throughout. This seems to do the job! The smell is a bit like aniseed/liquorice and is quite strong when using it but doesn't seem noticeable once dry. It certainly seems to give me a bit more body, definition through the layers, smoothes the lengths and creates a good, lasting curl at the ends. My hair is quite prone to frizz and flyaway and it seems to have controlled this too, even in damp weather! Because it is a liquid gel, I think the bottle will last quite a long time too.

best gel ever for curly hair
this is a very liquid gel, very runny! I don't like the smell and that is a new experience for me with Aveda - but in spite of that it is the best gel I have ever used on curly hair! It holds the curl, scrunches out the crunch effortlessly and holds all day. It feels completely weightless and it doesn't interfere with the natural texture of my hair and curls. This is my holy grail product used in conjunction with Be Curly Curl Enhancer. I only need a 10p sized puddle for shoulder length hair so it lasts for ages. I think I only need a bottle and a half each year.

Wonder Product
I don't know quite how this product does this where every other mousse or gell I have tried has not, but when I add this to damp hair. scrunch, and either diffuse till almost dry, or just leave to dry naturally, my hair dries in natural swirls and wave patterns I never knew it had!! To revive during the day, or on waking up. simply run wet fingers through hair to dampen and it will spring back. Amazing, this is the best hair product I have ever bought by a long way.

My favourite hair product of the last 10 years!
I have fine, curly, shoulder length hair and spent many years trying to find a product that didn't dry it out, make it look frizzy or brittle. When I discovered Confixor, I instantly loved everything about it, from the beautiful smell, through to the fact it gives my hair light hold, volume and thickness that looks totally natural. I've used this product for over 10 years and have recommended it to many friends.

Great styling product
This is an old favourite I have used for years mixed with be curly or curl control for my curly hair. It's a great hold.
