First of all I I know AVEDA really well because I used to live in the USA and AVEDA is a really well known brand there and extremely popular! Second of all, I ALWAYS have AVEDA shampoos (and other stuff) in my shower and the reason is because it almost completely stopped my hair from falling out!!! I used to lose quite a bit of hair after washing and once I switched to AVEDA, that problem went away... Anyway, I use 2 shampoes, Dry Remedy and this Mint purifying one once in a while when I need more cleansing. I don't use a lot of styling products and this cleans my hair perfectly without stripping it dry. And there is no SLS in it yet suds up like your usual shampoo.

Never going back
Love love love Aveda products. Products are high quality and ethically made. So glad I made the change. I've had lots of unprovoked compliments since! I alternate between this and the Pure Abudance shampoo. Love both and will choose either depending on mood/how my hair feels. I then follow with Shampure conditioner. Well worth the money.

Has solved my psoriasis problem
I have had psoriasis of the scalp since I was a teenager, and the only products that seemed to tame this were selenium based products that were horrible to used and made my hair and hands smell horrible. I tried using this after a chat with a trichologist, and it worked. My psoriasis no longer bothers me, and it slowly comes back if I stop using the shampoo. It can dry your hair out, but I have short hair, and this is not a massive issue for me, but if using on longer hair you will need a decent conditioner as well.

Thrilled I found this
I moved here from the U.S. in September and struggled to find a shampoo and conditioner that worked for me. I have very greasy hair and need a shampoo and conditioner that clean my hair without leaving it feeling heavy and weighted down. Once I tried this product (and the accompanying conditioner) I knew I had found what I needed and will continue to use it for as long as I'm here!

Never been disappointed
I tried lots of other products from other brands to find the optimal solution for my hair. My hair is quite sensitive and easily dries out or breaks. My experience proofed me right to rely on natural ingredients instead of cheap products with lots of chemicals that damage my hair in the long term. Even though it costs more than other Shampoos you only need a very small amount for your hair. I am really satisfied with the product and highly recommend.

Love this shampoo
My hair was not in good condition until I tried this shampoo. Loved the tingling mint sensation on my scalp - feels clean and fresh. My hair looks younger and healthier now and I can leave washing an extra day which has to be good for its condition as well as saving me time.

I've been using this product for a year now and I can see how much better my hair is now. My hair never looked this beautiful and healthy. It's so shinny and so much stronger. Even my mom thought I was wearing extensions because the hair looks so good.

Stripped my hair colour ..
I was wanting to try more of a higher end shampoo on my hair that can be oily , I was disappointed as I didn't notice an overall difference between washes it was greasy just as quick as my regular shampoo . Also I wasn't made aware and it doesn't mention anywhere but it's totally stripped out my hair colour leaving it patchy !!! I have only had my hair dyed and been going to my hairdresser who hasn't changed products or dyes so I'm putting it down to the shampoo !!?? Maby i used the wrong shampoo . I don't usually write reviews but I was really annoyed that it's stripped my hair colour when Iv paid £70+ for it doing ... so thinking I would invest in a good shampoo . The only thing I like about this shampoo is the smell .

Has anyone used this with dyed hair? Thinking of getting it but I am having Balayage done this weekend. Have seen one review about it stripping someone colour but was wondering if that was a one off. Thanks :)
I have coloured hair and have not had a problem with this shampoo. I think it’s quite mild and it smells lovely. Leaves hair feeling clean and soft: I have very fine blonde hair.
