New favourite!
I purchased a small one a couple months ago, lasted me ages. So I ran out and immediately had to order another one. I love it, one of the best cleansing balms I have ever used. I live that it’s cruelty free, natural and no added nasties. It’s in a glass jar which is a major plus, trying to massively reduce my plastic waste.

Wanted to love this...
Was hoping this would be a cheaper alternative to the Emma Hardie cleansing balm but it doesn't compare. I really wanted to love this and the fact that it's organic was an incentive for me to purchase. I'm not too keen on the smell which I would describe as medicinal. I presumed this would have a balmy texture but it doesn't. I would say the texture is gel-like, but not light at all, in fact, it feels like the same texture I'd imagine hair gel to be. It's quite sticky, and doesn't feel particularly pleasant when you rub it in, presumably due to how dense it is. It also isn't a great remover of make up so you would definitely need to double-cleanse. Lesson learned for me is that you get what you pay for, and that is why the Emma Hardie balm costs what it does. That said, I wouldn't consider this cleanser to be necessarily 'inexpensive' but overall, I just don't love it and won't repurchase. For now I will continue using but once it's used up, I shall revert back to my Emma Hardie Moringa cleansing balm, and shall never betray her again!

wonderful cleanser
I bought this after seeing Lisa Eldridge recommend it online, and I'm so glad i did: the texture is thick and luxurious (a clear, goopy consistency), i like to massage it in and leave for a couple of minutes before washing off (it goes a milky colour when mixed with water). Make-up comes off easily and doesn't leave my skin feeling tight like some cleansers I've used in the past. The smell is beautiful (a sweet, delicate scent), and knowing the product is 100% natural is also a big plus in my book. I haven't tried any other Evolve products yet, but having looked into the brand a bit more, I love their ethos and am always happy to support smaller artisan beauty/skincare brands, so I'll definitely be trying more of their products soon.

Very difficult to wash off
Oh I really wanted to like this! After so many positive reviews I was very excited to buy this cleansing balm, and the natural ingredients and glass jar are a must. Sadly this is not for me, the balm is ok to spread on my skin, but it is imposible to remove just with water, and I ended up having to rub my cotton cloth soaked in warm water really hard making my skin very dry after removing all the balm off my face. It didn’t even remove my mascara. I have other balls and cleansers that remove all make up and mascara without so much rubbing or the need to double cleanse. It also has a smell that’s not very pleasant. I’ve only used this balm twice and I bought it 2/3 months ago, I’m avoiding using it because the experience hasn’t been very positive. So I have a nearly full pot of product I really don’t enjoy using, and not sure I can use it again! Sadly I will not be buying this again.

Great first cleanse
Brought this as a first step to take my makeup off in my double cleanse routine and it’s works really well. It got off all my makeup including mascara and smells like Turkish delight which I love. The scent is not over powering once on your face however. You do need a wash cloth as you would expect with oil based cleansers. I also love that it’s plastic free and pot is a lovely one to keep!

Fab make up removal
Love this cleanser, I use it with a hot cloth and it removes all my make up. Doesnt irritate my skin. Great eco friendly jar. Winner all round!

Lovely Texture
This cleansing melt is like a gel/balm when you scoop it out and massage onto your skin. Then add water and continue to massage and the gel/balm turns into a milky consistency. Either rinse with water or use a muslin cloth like I do.
Smells absolutely divine and really does give you deep cleanse, removing all makeup. It's even ok for my blemish prone/oily skin.
This is definitely a staple in my routine now.
I love the fact is is natural and organic ♥️
