Luxurious and beautiful!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First impressions: the packaging is, as you would expect from Gucci, exquisite. The glass bottle feels heavy and the vintage style gold detailing on the screw top applicator means this product looks expensive and beautiful sat on your vanity shelf/desk.
The highlighter itself is liquid, with almost a serum-like quality. It blends beautiful onto the skin. I tried it on bare skin, mixed into my foundation and also over the top of my makeup and all looked beautiful. The gold tone is universally flattering, I suspect on all skin tones, and gives a soft focus, healthy glow to the skin. A gorgeous product!

Very subtle glow for the price
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was really excited to try this! The packaging looks very luxurious but the actual product was a bit of a let down.
It felt very hydrating and was a lot more lightweight compared to similar products I've used so it would be perfect for summer. However it gave a very subtle glow and I didn't feel like it did much considering the price it retails at.
The droplet applicator was also difficult to use and apply and I ended up just smearing the dropper on my face.
Overall, I would have preferred this product to be be more glowy but I will probably still use it on holiday during the day for a natural subtle glow.

Get that summer glow
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I received the product I thought it was presented well and I like the dabber. The colour is perfect for summer and I really like the texture. I prefer using this though as part of my prep before or mixing with my foundation. I also tried it as a highlighter but it just wasn't enough glow for me. I do wonder how you get the rest of the product out though given its in a glass container but I think the product will last a while so its hard to say. Its also quite expensive for just 12ml. Overall, it's a nice product, but I think I prefer wonder glow which is much more coat effective and easier to get out of the packaging.

Less a highlighter, more a base coat
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wasn't sure what to think of this product. It markets itself as "summer glow & care highlighter" and says you can use it as a highlighter or under make up for an extra glow. I found that it wasn't pigmented enough for either of those things. It looks pretty in the bottle but once on the skin it's hardly noticeable. Certainly not pigmented enough to use as a highlighter and is completely covered up by make up if used as base. Make up sat nicely on top of it so I felt it was more of a primer than anything. Slightly disappointed for a Gucci product.

Shimmer is glass-like, lovely!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very excited to receive this product as I have previously used the Iconic drops which is similar!
Pros- it’s liteweight, and is very versatile! I used this on top and under make up, and also applied it on my body after I moisturised for a glow! The shimmer is absolutely lovely, very shimmery and made my skin look ‘glassy’. I love the packaging, feels very luxurious! No smell.
Cons- I found the glass pipette took up a lot of the bottle, when you removed it- there wasn’t as much product as I previously thought. The squidgy part of the pipette as well takes a few squeezes to get product into the the pipette then a few to get it out.

Lovely glow

Practicality: glass dropper a good idea however not well executed, I found it fiddly and not easy to pick up/dispense the product
Lovely colour mixed with moisturiser. A very subtle glow.
When used as a highlighter it shimmers nicely. Will suit light, medium and darken skin tones as it does not carry the base colour much.
Overall, I think it's a lovely product. However, for the price point I know there are cheaper better or equivalent alternatives on the market.

Instant subtle glow
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m not much of a regular highlighter user so it’s been a case of trial and error using this illuminator. Overall I’m extremely pleased! A couple of drops is enough to give my cheekbones a lovely subtle, dewy glow, but I find it most effective when mixed in with my foundation or moisturiser, it gives my skin a real ‘lit from within’ finish without being shiny or greasy.
I’m still getting the hang of using it properly but it’s becoming a staple in my makeup routine since it takes so little effort to achieve a great result.

Gucci Highlighter
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely loved this product. I tried it a few different ways, on its own all over my face, under foundation, but my favourite was on top of foundation and just dotted across my cheekbones/tip of nose. It looks a lot darker in the bottle than it does on the skin. It blends really nicely and isn't sticky like I find some other highlighters. It's long lasting and wears well, it doesn't go patchy and doesn't look greasy either, genuinely just gives a really nice glow! I would 100% recommend!
