Must Have!
I was unsure which shade to choose from the Ambient Lighting collection- so I decided to buy the palette! I was unsure if the powder would be worth the money, but after seeing so many positive reviews I decided to go ahead. So worth the money! I love the palette as the 3 shades allow me to set my under-eye, entire face, and subtly bronze. Glides over my dry skin so smoothly and gives your skin a 'filtered' appearance. From having extremely dry skin I often find that powders cling to dry spots and look patchy- however, this powder actually makes my skin look hydrated/radiant. I will certainly be using this palette on my wedding day (along with every other day!).

Fabulous palette!
I've been pondering which shade of the Ambient Lighting Powder to buy for AGES! I live a long way away from anywhere I could have gone to look at them in person, and images of them online look different in every shot! So, I decided to buy the palette and I'm so glad I did.
The shades are really subtle and I can use all of them. I'm light skinned in winter and a medium in summer. I'll use Dim Light and Incandescent Light when my skin is fairer and Radiant Light in the summer.
They give a really lovely glow to the skin and it's really easy to put on with a powder brush.

Best way to a glow from within
I had been looking for a powder that would set my face without looking matte and flat, I would recommend this for people with dry skin or those with uneven skin tone - it smooths out the look of the skin and really gives that glow from within. Love this trio

Silky smooth powder
This is the first time I have tried a hourglass product and quite impressed, gives good coverage without looking cakey and dry, leaves skin smooth looking and silky with just the right amount of sheen that gives a glow not shiney or sparkling like some do, I like all the shades in this palette and would buy again.

Not like any other powder I used
I always found this palette quite attractive. The shades are not only great looking in the pan but they also work quite awesome on the skin as well. I can’t praise it enough. Although I don’t put full makeup on that often so was in doubt about purchasing it but thank God I’ve got my hands on it. I couldn’t recommend it enough. I’m a happy and loyal little customer of this brand now.

Give a beautiful glow.
Bought this after watching Hannah Martin use it, it didn’t disappoint, give a beautiful subtle glow. I love it, I have the Charlotte Tilbury Bar of gold, which is definitely not subtle, so nice to have a choice.

Maybe ok if you already have young great skin!
Horrified at how over priced and over hyped this item is. If you have anything other than perfect young skin it will make you look awful. The colour spectrum/undertones are only really for fair skin and completely ignore mid to deep tones. Again I’d you have younger skin you can probably get away with it. Also I found I was allergic to it and it made my skin itch really bad - sensitive skins stay away!! Only positive thing I can say is the compact is gorgeous and I love the mirror. The product itself is one of my all time worst purchases. Quite angry about the false hype.

I have oily skin, particularly around my nose. Is this powder suitable? I generally don't like a matte look, and much prefer a glow. But I don't want to purchase anything that will cake in my nose folds!
I have oily skin also and I found it very light and airy, but on ocassion it's possibe to make a more of an impact with it also... I didn't find it caking

Which Hourglass brush would be best to use with this? I think the pans are smaller than the single powders.

Mostly suitable for fair skin, gets lost on deeper skin tones. Shame.
