Great primer for oily/combination skin
I was looking for a primer to reduce shine on my t-zone and also to minimize the appearance or pores on my nose and cheeks. This primer does a good job in keeping my face looking matte throughout the day. I don’t have to retouch and with the right foundation there’s no shine, even after having my make-up on since 5:30 am. However I’m not completely satisfied with how it fills my pores and it leaves a pretty visible white cast on my face. So I couldn’t use it without foundation. Still, until I find a better one, this is my go to primer. Also the small size still lasts a long time. I’ve uses it daily for a month and i still have 2/3 left.

Best primer to ever exist!
I have extremely oily skin and am prone to spots, which are extremely hard to over with very fair skin. I had used other primers over the years, porefessional being a fav and kept seeing reviews on this primer. I was shocked at the price of this primer but with all the great reviews decided it must be worth it, and believe me it was worth it! A little goes a long way with this primer and although it doesn’t fill in my pores as does the porefessional, it smoothes the skin and infact makes my skin look 100x better once my foundation is on. My skin looks flawless, and more importantly my foundation stays on my nose all day which never happened before! As far as the white sheen look it has which others have said, for me it gives me a smooth, clear complextion look and I don’t notice an effect from it at all. It may vary on different skin tones but for me, il never look back!

Magic product that gives stunning results!!
I have never found a primer that I liked or worked with my bad skin and the amount of foundation/concealor and powder I need. Until now!! This has transformed my makeup! It is just amazing. You only need a tiny bit and I spread it all over even my eyelids with my fingertips. Then after reading other reviews I wait about 15 minutes for it to dry properly. This makes all the difference I have found. It is worth the wait though as my makeup stays on so perfectly all day - I need less powder top ups, the finish looks sooo smooth and by bedtime I don't want to take my makeup off as it still looks so fresh! I try not to use it everyday as I love that wow feeling I get when I do use it!

I LOVE this!!
I have tried so many primers from drug store to high end. This is the only one that has delivered great results. It may be more on the expensive side but it’s so worth it. You only need a small amount for whole face. I have fine lines, oily skin and pores on cheeks. This smooths everything out, doesn’t emphasise fine lines and hides pores. This controls my oil without being in any way drying. I think it would suit most skin types. My search for a fantastic primer is now over. I love Hourglass products and love that they are cruelty free. I will definitely continue to buy this and would recommend.

Massive game changer for me
Ok so I had a right job with there stick foundation and all my other primers. I was going to give up, I got it to just about work and not look like a 10 year old messing with mums make up. Then I saw this in a mini and thought let’s give it a go. OMG I love it!!! I have large pores, fine lines under eyes and depending on time of month spots, combo skin. This is so light weight I didn’t hold much hope but it’s amazing!! Sorry just really happy with this, no caking up under my glasses, no more heavy make up days and after I wash it of I don’t brake out, only snag if your like me and moisturise before make up (after washing your face) wait at least 20 mins as it can go a little funky. Side note I use this with other foundations as well and same results seamless application and foundation look amazing.

Great Primer
I would give this a 5 star, but when you are of black skin when you apply the primer it leaves your skin whiteish (and no I didn't use too much). Even after you apply the foundation you end up still looking pale.

Works for my acne prone sensitive skin
I have been using this primer for more than a year now and I love it, I’m nearly running out of my previous jumbo tube (lasted more than 12 months) so ordered another from here as my other stockist didn’t have the jumbo tube in stock.
The product is fantastic, since I’ve hit my mid thirties, i have developed cystic acne and suffer from sensitive skin which is also oily due to acne, this product has not given me a reaction and usually MOST products cause a flare up in my skin but this primer did not, it is now my holy grail. I use it everyday after my cleansing routine and apply sparingly, it makes my make up last for a good 7 hours with me only needing to blot my skin with a sheet once after my make up application is finished (I use Estée Lauder double wear and bare minerals matte foundation) . I have really oily skin and had tried so many different primers over the years and had even tried setting sprays to ward off the shine throughout the day, but my skin would usually breakout and would still need blotting every couple of hours, that’s how bad it was. This is the only primer I would now use, at first it seemed pricey but in the long run it’s proved itself to be value for money as it lasts forever, do what I did, if you don’t want to invest without trying, buy a sample sachet online, try it and see how your skin fares over the next couple of days, if you love the results, invest because it really is worth it.

Feels amazing, works wonders!
I've never bought or used a primer, (yes, I know, sorry!) Bought this in preparation for my wedding next year. This is an amazing product, it goes on like silk, it feels so light weight, my makeup sits on it perfectly and lasts for hours. Can't recommend highly enough, buy this product if you're serious about long lasting makeup. And, I suffer with outbreaks of acne, this product did not aggravate my skin at all. It's expensive, but worth it, a little goes a long way.
