OUTSTANDING RESULTS
Have been using this product for over a year now and I must say it’s definitely the best shampoo (and conditioner) I’ve ever used! I keep going back to it because I use to have frizzy , uncontrolled hair, but this product fixed everything. Super impressed with the results and just the shampoo alone leaves your hair soft and silky. I usually follow this product with the frizz ease conditioner and the serum and honestly I’m just as astonished with the results they give too. 100% recommend this product to anyone who has frizzy hair, or anyone who wants a good shampoo I’m general. It’s worth it’s money and the quality will not disappoint you

Bring back the old formula
I’ve used this shampoo for years and years. It’s always been perfect for my curly hair. Then they brought out this new formula. The new formula is awful, John Frieda, what have you done? It does not lather, it knots my hair when shampooing, and it makes my hair dry and straw like. Bought a second bottle in case the first was faulty, but no, it was just the same. Persevered for a few washes, out of loyalty to the product, in the hope my hair would get used to it. It just got worse with each wash, till it started breaking my hair off and I had to stop using it. Terrible changes to this product and I will not buy again.

New Formula is Terrible
As with so many of the other recent reviews, I have used this range for years (15 or more) & loved it. However, the new formula is awful & I am now trying to find a replacement as I will not be using this unless you return to the old formula. The new one leaves my hair feeling & looking unclean. My scalp is itchy, my hair looks greasy but feels dry, it's tangled & the curls are super flat. It really is awful now, I am so disappointed!

Please change the formula back.
I originally left this review on the page for the conditioner, but I thought I would leave it here as well:
Please, just change the formula on the Frizz Ease Dream Curls shampoo and conditioner back to what it used to be. I understand why you would choose to shift away from products containing silicones and sulfates/sulphates: I believe that it is most likely because of recent trends involving negative sentiment towards such ingredients within groups following the 'CG' method.
However, as a result of these changes, your product now fails to do what it once could. That is, make peoples' hair look wonderfully curly and voluminous. Rather, it seems to (almost) invariably leave hair looking lifeless, damaged, and - somewhat ironically - frizzy. The simple fact of the matter is that your current 'Dream Curls' line fails to compete with the quality of other 'natural' formulas; while also falling short of the standard previously held by this same product. Consequently, it is difficult to deem the current formulation as anything other than worthless.
Although I doubt it will happen, I hope that some thought will be given to this message, in addition to the many recent, negative reviews on your website. Thank you.

They changed the smell - beware!
I've been using the Dream Curls range for years, well, not any more. The new smell is horrible, it's suffocating, and it stays for the whole day, making me nauseous. It went straight to the bin, what a shame. Will not buy again.
Please bring back the OLD smell.

Great product for natural curly hair !!!
I have a problem to find product which make my hair moistures with beautiful curls. After trying it I have to say The best so far from the supermarket products. My hair is beautiful very soft and moistures. I got conditioner, leave in conditioner, oil and muss. I was sceptical to use muss on my hair as it was sticking it Together ( when I tried it before from other brand) but this One is so good makes my curls even more beautiful. I highly recommend it! Shampoo conditioner oil and muss is a must!!!

Works really well on wavy hair!
I started using this shampoo and the conditioner a couple of months ago and it really worked for my hair. It is true that it took me a couple of tries to get the "formula" right (the quantity of shampoo, the quantity of conditioner, other products etc), and after I got it right - it's the best shampoo for my hair. Previously I had to wash my hair every 3 days, but now I can extend to 4. On top of it, I don't need to add any other products. Previously I would use serums and oils to make my hair more silky and smooth, but now there is no need, it really made my hair routine simpler. 1. Shampoo 2. Conditioner 3. Curl Mousse. Really happy that I decided to give the shampoo a try.

Lovely range giving me luscious curls!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have loved John Frieda's Dream Curls range for so long, getting the right shampoo & conditioner combo is tough for those with curly hair. Especially mine as it's actually quite thin. So seeing that they had a brand new range out that was Sulphate Free I knew I had to try it. It has made my curls bounce, I am in love. The shampoo smells lovely, it doesn't lather a lot but you do feel you hair has been given a good clean afterwards. The only thing for me is that John Frieda can be quite price for someone on a budget but you pay more for quality hair care. So if you have wavy/curly hair, I would definitely give this range a go!
