Definitely not the same
I don't usually write reviews, but I write this in hope that Mac will reinstate the original formula. I've been using the new formula in shade C7 for a few weeks now and it's definitely not the same as the original. The new formula is much heavier on the skin- it feels as if you're wearing a lot of product, even when I apply the smallest amount. I use it with NC50 and NC45 pro long wear concealer and although this combination of products was perfect with the original, with this new version the finished effect feels heavy and caked on. It's also very drying on the skin and, the more I use it, I seem to be developing dry patches and a few spots in places. This formula is less hydrating, and doesn't feel like a light moisturiser. It's not as easy to move around on the face and doesn't blend as well when applying with fingers. I didn't think I had sensitive skin, but there's something in this new version that isn't working for me. Please bring back the original. I'm sad to say I just can't get on with the new formula and will have to look elsewhere for another foundation. So sad as the original worked for me for years and I just don't understand why Mac decided to change it. Was it based on any customer feedback? I'd also like to know why the original formula is still available, but only in certain shades.

Fantastic
Nice foundation it’s like a tinted moisturisers very light coverage. Perfect shade I’m C7. I would highly recommend if you’re into the natural makeup look.
