New Favourite Scent
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve never used anything from the Penhaligon’s brand before and was drawn to this scent by the word “rose” in the title. I’ve always been a fan of a floral perfume and especially one with a rose scent. My previous favourite rose scented perfume was discontinued so I was desperate to find something similar and this didn’t disappoint! This smells so similar, it really has that strong burst of rose and is very feminine. It’s not overpowering but is lovely and could easily be worn everyday and not just for a special occasion. This has easily become one of my new favourite perfumes.

Elegant , fresh and whimsically wonderful
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Penhaligon's - The Coveted Duchess Rose Eau de Parfum is a luxurious Parfum with a story to be told. From the packing to the writing , it's whimsical yet may be almost reminding me of a certain TV programme of a young lady coming of age and her handsome older Duke husband and you take a spray in the air step today's and let the scent fall down on to you. Taking in the notes of the Mandarin, rose, and vanilla, enveloped in the mid yet masterful musk hue to remind you that this a fresh and modern yet elegant scent but comes through with that of old fashion richness that will last you the day. Gentle changing from fruit to floral to jasmine tones. I can reccomend.

Beautiful !
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm a huge fan of Penhaligons fragrances, my favourite for some time has been The Favourite - very apt! - after a sales assistant recommended it as a replacement for the now discontinued Vivienne Westwood Boudoir. The Coveted Duchess Rose is equally beautiful and reminds me so much of Carnal Flower by Frédéric Malle, another favourite of mine. However it is a little softer but tested on my wrist, two sprays lasted all day. I would most definitely buy this, it's exquisite.

LOVE THE FRAGRANCE
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I enjoy trying out new perfumes but this particular one really caught my attention, it's modern, stylish, feminine, flowery and has a lasting scent that left me feeling so good right from the very first spray of contact on my skin. I like to spray a little perfume on my hair and eeven had some people comment my hair smelled amazing. i recommend this perfume to anyone who hasn't tried it.

Strong scent
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really liked the scent of the product. There was a hint of oud which I liked. The rose is beautiful its very fragrant. The scent is really strong when you spray it but it goes down after. It can be extremely overwhelming when your first spray it . If you like a really strong rose this is great. Penhaligons never disappoint. It's really beautiful. Perfect evening perfume.

Absolutely beautiful
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Simply put it is absolutely beautiful. I received a sample sized and it's probably the most beautiful perfume I've smelt, definitely reflects the high price.
5* for the scent, I can't afford however when I can one day this will be the first thing I will spend my money on. I only sprayed twice and the smell still lingers on my cardigan days later.

Sophisticated floral rose
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This perfume has a really sophisticated old time rose scent. It reminds me of a Yardley scent my grandmother used to wear and she was a very elegant lady.
I love that it isn't overly floral, synthetic or potent, the name sums it up very well it smells like being in an English rose garden at a stately home.
A long lasting delicate scent.

Pretty Rose
This is a pretty, soft rose scent, perfect for spring time.
The opening of the fragrance is sparkling and zingy (and this is my favourite part). Shortly thereafter, it develops into a blend of fresh, dewy rose and white musk.
The fragrance doesn't change much on my skin and after 2-3 hours it turns into a fleeting skin scent. It is lovely, but not worth the price...
