The matte shadow formula in Give Yourself Grace is extremely easy to blend - it almost applies itself. The metallic shades look molten on the eye and the change in tone, depending on how the light hits it, is gorgeous. The pigmentation on everything is great - neither too low nor too intense, similar to Asian makeup. The application on all of the formulas is smooth & even, the easy & quick way that the shades layer and blend to create new shades is amazingly easy & fast, and the fallout on everything is minimal. I haven't had any problems with creasing, colour fade, or any transferring.
I've found that the formulas are really soft on skin & just meld together for a limited amount of looks that can be achieved. However for a palette from this particular brand I actually do like that soft-focus effect you get, since the brand is built around lighter formulas that don't hide the real you, so I do think that the shades & the various formulas we get here should indeed be on the more gentle side. I adore the soft-focus sunset eye you get from this palette - stunning.
There's nothing truly wrong with the topcoat formula, and I actually find it to be less fallout prone in comparison to other brands so I do wear it occasionally, but ultimately I would have preferred another matte or metallic shade as I'm just not wowed with glittery cosmetics and I don't think that a glitter-heavy shade matches the softness of everything else

Brown girl friendly palette
Amazing colours and so pigmented, so worth it. I used to use Huda but wanted to try this and it lives up to the hype.
