Helps tame frizz
This shampoo has a great consistency, nice and thick making it easy to shampoo so you don’t drop half of it in the shower as you’re doing so. I have long thick curly hair that is coloured monthly and this does a great job cleaning it, meaning I only need to shampoo once, then follow with the Acidic Bonding conditioner. It doesn’t seem to fade my colour either.
Be patient, you won’t see results overnight but persevere with this and hopefully you will. My curls are now more defined and last longer and frizz is reduced. The price seems high, but as I only need to shampoo once instead of twice previously, I use less product - so I am hoping the bottle will last me some time.

Worst shampoo I have ever used
Genuinely the worst shampoo I have ever used. I always use good quality products, typically Kerastase, Philip Kingsley etc. and tried this Redken product on the recommendation of a YouTuber with colour treated hair. It made my hair horrifically tangled - initially I thought I’d used too much/not read the instructions/my hair condition had worsened. I mentioned how tangly my hair was after washing - literally a ball of snarled up mess / to my hairdresser who noticed it as well. Remnants of the product during colouring. Two washes with Olaplex and that issue has disappeared. I thought the heaviness of the product would be good for my coloured/bleached hair but it is the absolute opposite. Would definitely not recommend.

Best shampoo and conditioner ever used
I’ve only used this once and I am blown away by the results this has given. I have fine, limp, greasy hair which had been bleached to within an inch of its life and has got the the point where it’s so damaged it gets matted. So I will normally be a greasy mess at the roots with fried ends. I used this and it feels like amazing, strong, light, bouncy, volume. Usually I can see my split ends but this has definitely reduced them. Redken have definitely produced an amazing product. Also the smell reminds me of sherbet and makes using it such a pleasure.

Good at bringing the ph back down
As I have gotten older my hair has lost moisture. I have always highlighted my hair but now with the greys I colour it more and that adds up to the dryness of hair & hair lacking shine. I am generally a fan of Redken products so decided to try the Acidic Bonding Shampoo and conditioner and they are good at bringing the hair back to balance. In my opinion this is not a daily product but something to use every second or third wash as its meant to bring the ph of the hair down. Very happy with this, will be repurchasing. Personally I think you need to use it with the matching conditioner.

Hair felt like a dream
i've read up on acidic ph values for hair and the research convinced me to buy this in an attempt to save my fine hair from being frizzy and feeling dull. i use the pureology shampoo and conditioner , and this one alternatively on wash days.
dear lord, this shampoo left my hair feeling like i was in a commercial in real life. amazing product and leaves the hair feel so pristine!

Best shampoo
I’ve used this shampoo twice now along with conditioner and my hair has never looked better, I’m actually excited to wash my hair. I’m a huge fan of redken shampoos/conditioner but this was is my absolute favourite!

Disappointing
Have used various Redken products for many years. Unfortunately don’t like this one it makes my roots greasy and feels like my hair is coated, making it look limp.
