So far so good
I’ve used this now for about a week and the results are really quite impressive. I am super pale and I’ve found that it’s definitely given me plenty of colour. It has brought a few spots out which I did expect with my sensitive skin, but nothing horrendous. Start with 2 drops if you are super pale like me and work up. I’ll probably like it even more in the summer when my face does get a bit sun kissed. Great product

Lovely product
I really like the product and it does give you a nice bit of colour. However make sure you really wash your hands. Also it takes a while to dry on your skin.

Good colour, does smell, can be streaky.
Pros
> I like being able to control the strength depending on the effect I wanted/ how much I'd tanned recently etc.
> I like that it doesn't interfere with my regimen. I have very sensitive and acne prone skin so once I've found products that work for me I want to stick with them. This stuff just dissolves into my face cream and I don't feel like it affects my skin negatively at all.
> I quite like the shade. On my very pale skin in winter it looks fairly natural in most light - it's not the most natural-looking product I've ever used but I don't look tangoed. It would definitely look better with a slight natural tan and I wouldn't hesitate to use it as a tan enhancer.
Cons
> I did find it a bit streaky. It's very absorptive so taking extra time rubbing it into my face cream thoroughly is risky as it may stain hands - I'd rather not use a mitt which would just waste my expensive face cream. I may consider pre-mixing in a pot. Even after taking extra care my neck is often left streaky - I don't find it wears very well and I need to exfoliate every few day and then start again.
> It definitely does smell. All fake tans do, as the ingredient that tans you (dihydroxyacetone) smells. It just depends how much DHA is in the product. So I'd say depending on how much you add you can control smell to a degree, but I definitely feel the need to shower and wash my hair after using on my face or else I'm smelling like biscuits all day!
>Partly due to the patchyness, especially on my neck area, it doesn't look 100% natural. It is slightly too orange and in bright light I feel like the shade is a bit telltale.
Overall I'd probably recommend it to a friend and I may repurchase as it's nice to have around for a quick tan fix - it goes down slowly as you're only using a few drops at a time and if my skin isn't happy it's nice to not add an extra product in.

Natural glow!
I never write reviews but this one is worth it. I'm very pale and tanning just looks fake on me. This is so amazing natural, you just look healthier and more glowy. The amount of compliments I got is nuts since using. Wish it'd stayed longer on but then I do wash my face thoroughly every night. It's perfect shade!!

After reading the reviews, I decided to give this a go and I’m so pleased I did!
The product smells lovely, and leaves a nice natural looking tan. I have quite sensitive skin and have to be carefully what to put on, so I would never usually put too much tan on my face. BUt I’ve been able to use this everyday for the past two weeks. Thoroughly recommend!

Game changer!
I really like this product. I was looking for something light which I could add into my routine to give me more of a glow rather than having to spend time putting my makeup on every day. I didn't like the idea of fake tan on my face as I've used this before and it always makes the colour pigmentation slightly weird and face feel dehydrated, so I decided to go for the facial drops for a more hydrated option. So far, I've found that mixing half a pipette in with my night moisturiser gives me a really healthy glow by morning with no residue / stains. Lots of people have commented on how healthy my skin looks! The only thing I'd say is that the tan doesn't last long - only 1 or 2 days then the colour is back to normal, so you need to incorporate it into your routine every other night in order to maintain the colour. Also make sure you vaseline your brows before applying as it made mine slightly ginge on the first time of using it (not very fleeky!) I would also say I'm not sure how the value for money compares to cheaper products on the market (e.g HiGlow) because I haven't used them, however I don't think quality skincare products ever come cheap! Overall I really like this and will continue to use! :)

Natural colour
I brought this a month ago and at first I added way too many drops and looked very orange!! Around (4). However after it went down I the did 2 drops and it turned into a natural tan and people commented on the colour and loved it!

Great for summer glow
Perfect for a summer glow! I use this over the summer twice a week 3 drops in my morning moisturiser for a nice glow and a little bit in the winter when I’m feeling a bit too pale. Never had any streaks or patches. Blends with cream
Moisturisers and gel moisturisers perfectly. I buy the little bottles so they aren’t open for a long period of time. 1 small bottle lasts me 3 months easily

Is this product non comedogenic?

The product page advises when using this product to gently exfoliate to keep the product even on the skin, this would also assist with black heads. We cannot fully advise if this product would suit as we do not know your skin type.

I’m prone to spots, will this product cause breakouts?
I am prone to both acne and breakouts and I actually felt my skin is the best it’s ever been when on this. It totally cleared my skin, I recently ran out, and I have noticed a decline in my skin. I love this stuff!

As long as you're using this with your regular moisturiser, you shouldn't experience any issues - just be extra vigilant with application so as to make sure it's applied evenly to avoid patchiness.

How dark does this tan go?

The TAN-LUXE The Face Illuminating Self-Tan Drops are light to medium, the more drops you apply in to your moisturiser the stronger the tan will be. Everyone is different and the colour will differ.
Beauty tip- Mix 1-4 drops to your usual moisturiser, serum or face oil in the palm of your hand and apply evenly over the face. Additional drops of the product will add depth of colour and glow to the final result. Wash hands thoroughly after application.

There is no harm if the product does go a little on the beard however, It is not recommended to apply this deliberately onto the beard!
If any of the product does go onto your beard, you can just wash it off.
