Does anyone know if this sunscreen has a white cast and is good for dark skin?
I found this sunscreen hard to rub in so it did leave bit of a white cast. I bought it as I suffer with heat rash and it was recommended by several pharmacists. Using this cream my heat rash was the very worst I’ve ever had it. Wouldn’t use it again and it is expensive.

Can this be worn on the face too?
I don't see any reason why you couldn't wear it on your face but I think that it may sting somewhat if you get it near your eyes. Also I don't think that it would be that good for wearing under make up.
It's definitely better than no SPF on your face but equally I think that there are better face SPF's out there.

Is this a once a day formula please?

It is recommended that a once-a-day sunscreen is not fully effective against the sun's harmful rays.
The Ultrasun Ultra Sensitive Very High SPF50+ Extreme Formula offers high protection and is very good for sensitive skin.
With any sun protection we do recommend re-applying throughout the day especially in hot climates.

What would be the “use by” time period for this large size Ultrasun 50SPF please?

The 'Period After Opening' symbol shows as 24 months.
I would recommend storing this in a cool, dark cupboard until you are ready to open it!
