RIP OFF
I have used Bobbi Brown Long wear eye shadow for several years and love the product. However, I am disappointed in the company for changing from the original glass pots to this dispenser. Why? You get half of the eyeshadow compared to the original pots and the price has gone up....massively. We are being ripped off! I know there are lots of reviews loving the pencil and the ease of application, however the plastic dispenser is such a waste. We don't need this when we are being encouraged to re-use wherever possible or recycle. I don't like the way that this product has been changed and marketed clearly to make more margins/profit. Very disappointed.

Please listen - we want the pots back!
I used heather for some time and really liked it. When they unfortunately discontinued the pots I was advised to use the long wear sticks and was told they were better. They're not! I was advised to try heather steel but it is more brown and I find it is difficult to blend, I often have to resort to a cotton bud to try and blend it as it goes clumpy. I went for an eye make up lesson but even with the professional doing it when I got home I could see it was not blended properly. So many reviews are asking for the pots to be brought back and Bobbi Browns reply seems to say that they do listen to what people say so why aren't they doing what we're asking for??

Absolutely stays put!
This is the best cream shadow ever. And I have tried many as I don't get on with powders (talc allergy). So easy to blend and apply (swipe on, smooth with fingertip, or buff with a brush) but, like others have said, be quick as it doesn't give much play time. Once on, it stays on. No creasing, no smudging, no colour change. I have several but vanilla (lovely cream colour) is a terrific base shade, golden bronze is just gorgeous, nude beach is great for the 'no makeup' look, and taupe is nice warm slightly tan shade that's great for work. The darker shades are also great as liner, especially for that slightly hazy look under lower lashes. My holy grail!

Stays all day
Got the advice of one of the online advisors as I had no idea what colour to try so she said taupe and golden bronze would suite my colouring and I must admit when I looked at taupe it literally looked like nothing special but gave it ago anyway and wow absolutely loved it, loved both colours actually. They blend lovely with your finger or a brush colour payoff is great and they last all day on me which it quite amazing as I have the oiliest eyelids, have tried many different eye primers in my time which haven't kept my eyeshadow on but these shadow sticks work a treat, can't wait to buy more colours.

My eyelids are notoriously oily and I have always found that regardless of if I use a primer, eye shadow base or even a 'stay all day' or 'budge proof' shadow, my eye makeup will be half way down my face by 12pm. However, these shadow sticks have changed everything! I bought them on a whim, not really expecting much as I have used over luxury beauty brands and found them just as bad as the high street ones. These shadow sticks really are long wearing - my eye makeup looked the same at 9pm as it did at 8am! I have chucked out all of my eyeshadows and I'm going to be getting all the over colours on my next pay day as you really cannot beat these sticks!

Best eye shadow ever
I was recommended and bought one of these after a makeup lesson on the Bobbi Brown counter (so I could do my own wedding makeup) and I've never looked back. I've owned in multiple colours - my favourite is probably Stone and I've even finished and re-bought colours which I've never done with any other brand! My most recent is Forest and its lovely- not super green, its subtle. They are so versatile, you can wear on their own for a light summer look, blend with kohl or gel liner for more drama and also work well layered with powder shadow. And the colour lasts all day, doesn't wash off when my eyes water. I literally can't live without them!

No substitute for the little pots!
I was delighted a few years ago when I found the long wear cream shadow. It went on easily, it stayed all day without any creases and the colour (heather) was perfect for me. When I discovered that the little pots had been discontinued I resigned myself to using the stick. I was assured that dusty mauve would be similar-wrong-it was too dark and was more brown than silver and not really mauve. I then bought heather steel as I was told that would be better-wrong again! I could live with the stick although I much prefer the cream if only I there were a colour similar to heather! Please at least ensure if you are going to discontinue a product that there is substitute available both in terms of colour and texture. One very disgruntled customer!

Better than the pots!
I much prefer these shadow sticks over the pots. I have owned a couple of pots over the years and found them dry, hard to blend and made my lids look wrinkly and old....but the shadow sticks are much better. I find that they glide on easily, and quickly, which as a mum needing to get my face on for the school run is a must have! I can blend a couple of couples together well (golden pink and golden bronze looks fab) and add powder shadow over the top and it doesn't look dry or creased. Personally I find they stay put all day. Perhaps it depends on what eye cream you use if it doesn't? So for me...winner winner chicken dinner!
