My go to lip product...
I've been using Clinique products since the 1980s & wearing this little beauty since it first arrived on department store counters. I'm delighted to see that it has become an online sensation - who knew I'd be "on trend"! I find it comfy, soothing on my lips & highly wearable with just about any colour scheme from my wardrobe. I'm a sallow South Asian/ European mix & it just provides the perfect slick of natural colour to give me a lift every time I apply it. Compressing with a tissue & reapplying allows it to stay put so I only have to top it up when eating & drinking. Can't imagine it not being in my little back of tricks!

5 minute makeup staple
This popped up in recommendations + when I did a virtual consultation this was also recommended. I thought I'd try it as I tend not to go for bold lip colour as I'm 58 and my top lip is thinner than my bottom lip so I don't draw attention to that . ( My usual go to is blushing nude ) Anyway I really , really like this . Goes on nicely , has a lipgloss slight sheen to it and feels nice on . I have dark hair , fair skin and naturally rosy lips . This just flatters that and is ideal when I need a speedy + simple makeup look . It definitely needs re application though during the day

I have been using Clinique products now for more than 35 years. Black Honey as a colour has been around for most of that time in one form or another, and with very good reason - it really is universally flattering. Almost Lipstick is the best, truly. It is a bit more than a gloss, and less than a lipstick - it never looks overdone, and it always looks good. I will carry on buying it as long as Clinique carry on making it! And please Clinique, don't ever discontinue this product or this colour!

Worth it
To be honest, I wasn't sure whether to order this product as I read some mixed reviews. However, I did because I liked the idea of having more sheer lip look with a hint of colour. The first time I used it it had a bit of old product smell,which wasn't nice. This odour dissappeared after the first use. The colour in my opinion is fantastic. My lips look bigger in a way but very natural look. I think this is a great colour. It feels like a lip balm and moisturises the lips. Overall, I am super happy with this product and would recommend it. I don't ofter use lipsticks but this is a quick way to add colour.

beautiful quality: lasts well and pretty shade.
Had been looking for a plum lip colour to suit my very pale/cool toned skin with dark hair and eyes. its adds a colour which is noticeable but not too dramatic, has a lovely comfortable feel, lasts well and isn't a bold block of colour. very wearable with copper eyes or matte taupe eyeshadow. can see me using this daily and will definitely repurchase as its just so nice. also love pop splash lip gloss but for an everyday glow rather than full gloss, this is just lovely.

The perfect lip product
It's lightweight, not sticky, and despite the very dark colour it is in the tube, it glides onto the lips as a beautiful natural wash of colour and brightens the face. It's added benefit is that it feels like it's moisturising the lips and I have had no issues with dryness while wearing it or after. Lasts a good while, I've noticed about 3 to 4 hours even with a light snack or some water it's still there and when it does eventually fade, it fades evenly and the colour still lingers and no dryness, looks quite pretty still. All in all this product is all I'll wear no matter the occasion or time of day as it's just so versatile. Whether you got the girl next door look going on or something more formal, it just completes the look and I love it. I don't need any other lip product with this and I'll be buying more when I start running low. I highly recommend this product.

My one and only....
I was guilty of falling for all the hype about this lipstick but I'm very glad that I did. I've got a medium complexion and I like a sheer lipstick which enhances natural lip colour which Black Honey provides very well (and it can be accurately applied without a mirror if neccessary without smears.) I've purchased three of these to date and I can't imagine ever changing my mind about it...all my other lipsticks are confined to the make-up bag now!

Wonderful Lipstick
I loved this lipstick when it first came out and had them in several colours. They are subtle in colour and smooth on the lips and not sticky like gloss. The slim case is classy in design. I'm saddened that there is now only 1 colour to choose from. My favourite, the Almost Raisin was a wonderful plum colour which is no longer available. Please, Clinique, can you supply more colours of this wonderful lipstick?
