Great hold!!
Really good product for my 3c & 4a textures in my hair....feels slightly drying when applying but once it cast after cleansing and styling it is a really beautiful finish and holds up in this extreme heat no frizz at 32° I use a combination of strengthening and moisture products and can honestly say curlsmith has changed the game for me and my curly hair journey....during styling my fave products to use with this are the 3 in 1 multitasking condioner as a leave in or the hold me softly balm before applying the gel if u have similar texture to me and want that strong hold this is the one for you aqua shape up is similarly good if u want a softer hold

Great definition for your curls
I am quite happy with this gel, my hair tends to be always frizzy and unmanageable and with this product I can see defined curls on a wash day. It also smells amazing and leaves my hair really soft and shiny. My only problem is that almost immediately after I apply it I can see some frizz already appearing, and after sleeping on my curls there’s almost no definition the next day. I guess that’s normal as it’s not a strong hold gel. It also does leave a cast and takes a while to remove.

Sadly i was dissappintes with this product, for me it made my hair sticky and gritty. I have an9ther Curlsmith product that i love but this one was just not for me.

I love Curlsmith!
Love this range for curly hair! It's the best I've used. I was initially cautious about using this gel-like product in case it was sticky or left a residue, but neither happened. I use this with the balm and reactivator, after washing and conditioning my hair with the other products from this range. I have zero complaints.

Okay but not worth the price
I have naturally curly hair and I'm a mum. This is fine if you have time to wet your hair go though the process is applying and blow-dry every time. It does make curls clump nicely but for the price and hassle, for me it's just not worth it.

Not for me
It controls and defines curls, leaving a good cast that needs scrunching out which is ideal for my fine hair.
It doesn’t give much in the way of volume, and I cannot stand the smell. It’s strong and pretty overpowering.

Had high hopes but didn't deliver!
I had high hopes for this product but it didn't do what l had hoped. Smells great and vegan which l only buy now but the texture was thick and bit sticky. I didnt feel this gave me more curl. Really expensive.
