On my eternal quest to find the perfect mascara I have finally found it. Great colour, buildable, smudge proof. This mascara saw me through an emotional divorce without budging. The husband is out but this mascara is staying.

No regrets! My new forever! ❤️
Wowza! Okay, let me make it clear that I've done my rounds on finding the perfect mascara, and oh.. My.. Days!! Gorrrgeeoouusss!! The length and volume this bad boy gives is UNREAL. I've been asked if I'm wearing false lashes for crying out loud! Naturally, I have fine lashes that are dead straight with no curve and I've never found a brush that picks up my corner lashes like this beauty does. I liked Nars, but it would be under my eyes by lunch time. Hourglass won't move at all. I've even had a big cry wearing this before and nothing came off. No clumps, can layer without looking like spider lashes, just pure heaven. This will be my forever item. Just stunning!

Best mascara ever!
I have just bought my second and that’s unheard of for me. This stuff is amazing. I have dark eyelashes that grow out straight at a 90 degree angle and this stuff makes them longer, thicker, blacker and curls them too. Everything I look for in a mascara. I may have finally found the one. Yes, it is thicker and I find one good coat is enough for me. I am also writing this review after using this for nearly three months. It is just starting to finish, but it never dried or went gloopy. It never looks spidery of caked. I hope Hourglass never stop making this or change the formula.

Would not buy again
I received a travel size as a gift and was so impressed that I bought the full sized one. Worst decision. I've been using it for 4 months and I can't believe it's the same mascara. For the first month it's too runny, literally clamps your lashes then you have a very limited period when it' perfect and then it just dries up. It flakes and sits extremely heavy on lashes. There are fantastic mascaras out there for the same price or less and this is not it. Unless you're buying its travel size then I couldn't recommend it high enough.

Love this mascara
I watched quite a few make up videos from hourglass on their Instagram before investing in any of their make up (as I still had lots of existing make up to use) and this was my first purchase. It delivers fantastic results and I love it! I have quite long eyelashes naturally and I like to make a feature of them. Before, I used Benefit Roller Lash which I loved for my eye lashes so was dubious about trying a new mascara but this one is equally as good if not better for adding length and volume to my lashes. It’s pricey compared to the usual pharmacy mascaras (similar price to Benefit) and it’s a 100% cruelty free and vegan product from a 100% cruelty free and vegan brand. Would highly recommend

Completely smudge proof
I have very hooded and oily lids and most mascaras do smudge on me, even the waterproof ones. This mascara is super black and stays put even during intense workouts. I tried it for a week then went out to buy a backup.

Best I've used
I've never found a mascara that ive stuck to but I think this may be the one! I do like a mascara that does a full on job and i cant complain. Just be sure to apply lightly. It's very effective that too much pressure can make it look clumpy. I'll be ordering again when it's empty!

Long wearing
Usually I like mascara best when it’s a few weeks old and not so wet, but this has been amazing from the get go.
I work 12 hour shifts including nightshifts and it doesn’t budge!
Minus a star because I don’t find it to be very buildable, it ends up clumping if I put more than one layer on but the one layer looks great anyways.
The triangular shape of the packaging I find gives you a good grip of the handle, no accidental slips have happened so far!
