Beautiful Packaging But.....
Lovely packaging and it is nice and gentle on my sensitive eyes. I wouldn’t buy again as I like a more full lash. This leaves your lashes looking a little like spider legs and doesn’t thicken the lashes what so ever. I’ll use this on days when I want a more natural no makeup look.

Don't buy in to the hype
There are a lot of cheaper and more importantly much better tubing mascaras to buy than this one. I was really chocked how substandard this was considering the hype. I don't normally leave reviews but felt obliged to, enough is enough. I think they've built a good campaign but product doesn't deliver & is overpriced. If you want thicker, longer eyelashes look elsewhere & save yourself the £

Unexpected
I was really looking forward to trying this, as I'm a huge fan of tubing mascaras, and have been successfully using them for years. Sadly this one is a total disappointment for me. The mascara is a rich deep black colour which is a point in it's favour, the wand is a spiky silicone type, it's easy to use and really feels like it combs through the lashes.
The problem is with the formula however, The mascara goes on clumpy and then after it dries, it just flakes off, I've needed to clean flecks of mascara from my skin on every occasion I've worn it. I've never had an issue like this with any other tubing mascaras, by the end of the day it's just worn right off.
I will use it up on days when I'm home but it's a big disappointment, I usually love Hourglass products and had high hopes for this

Black and defining mascara that is still natural
The mascara really lengthens, volumes and blackens your lashes. I really like it but I hoped with a tubing mascara, there would be no mascara transfer to my face. Although it was minimal, the mascara is very black so it is noticeable. I would still recommend however!

The Holy Grail of Mascaras
This is honestly the best mascara I've ever used. I've tried a lot of mascaras over the years, most of them ultimately disappointing, but not this one. It has a liquid texture that doesn't weigh down fine lashes and doesn't clump, also doesn't flake off like some tubular mascaras do. Makes lashes look beautifully lengthened, defined and thick, like lash extension done elegantly. Washes off very easily too yet miraculously doesn't smudge all day! I prefer the Unlocked to Caution Extreme mascara by Hourglass. Although Caution Extreme does create a more dramatic falsies look, the mascara texture is thick and clumps, feels too heavy on my fine lashes for all day comfort. Also takes more effort to remove, and dries and irritates my eyes a bit. If you are used to more heavy makeup then perhaps Caution is for you. But if you're more Parisian chic then I cannot recommend Hourglass Unlocked Mascara enough.

Disappointed
Very disappointed with this. It didn’t do anything for my lashes and I had little black dots under my eyes within an hour of wearing it. Still searching for the mascara that lifts lashes and does not fall on my face within hours of applying

Hourglass Instant Extensions
Everyone raves about this for its lengthening ability but I was honestly underwhelmed. The only upside is that it doesn’t come out thick or clumpy but other than that it’s not worth it at such a high price point.
