Medik8 3TR is a retinol serum in a squalane based oil formulation. It’s light textured, very liquid and hydrating on the skin. As it’s an oil it causes no dryness or irritation which is a common issue with some retinol products. This has patchouli which gives it some scent I never found it an issue and it caused no problems with my very sensitive skin. It’s a great option for a more gentle retinol or beginners to retinol, and especially if you have a drier skin type. I have since moved on the to Medik8 Crystal Retinal but would recommend this as a good place to start it’s a very effective retinol even though it’s gentle.

Love it!
I didn't have any issue with using this, no skin sensitivity etc, and my skin looks plump and glowy each time I use it. No idea if it's reducing fine lines but I've been IDed a bit more in the supermarket recently so maybe that's a good sign.

Medik8 Retinol 3TR - instant results!
Although retinol works over a period of use, I noticed the results straight away after using this. I applied it on the evening and when I woke up in the morning my lines, especially around my eyes were less defined and deep. I’ve had no irritation other than maybe a bit of dryness the next morning but if you wear SPF (which you need to with retinol) it doubles as your moisturiser and looks great. It fantastic to see instant results so I can’t wait to see the difference after a few months usage

Lovely vitamin C
Lovely serum! Feels like oil but it is not oily and doesn’t clog your pores. Makes my skin smooth and bright. I have sensitive skin and this didn’t irritate me

Tried the sample and I didn't expect much. I have been using retinol oil from another brand but this one has an amazing patchouli scent and is a pleasure to use so I think I will be shifting to this one. After 3 nights and days using the sample (only little is needed) my skin was very smooth. I look forward to buying a full bottle!
