The product instructions recommend exfoliating regularly so the tan stays even - if you use the tan drops and continue to wash and exfoliate your face as usual will it go streaky or patchy and how long will it last before it all washes off?

It is recommended to wash and exfoliate your skin while using the TAN-LUXE The Face Illuminating Self-Tan Drops as this is how you achieve a perfect tan without gong streaky or patchy as fake tan works by darkening the cells on the very top surface layer of the skin, which gradually flake away over time.
Dry, dehydrated, flaky skin absorbs extra DHA, which results in streaks and blotches. Due the this fact, the lasting power can vary depending on your skin type. Oily skins will find this product lasts longer than dryer skins.

Can you advise if you offer a light/ medium shade as I feel that medium/dark would be too obvious for my pale skin.

What is the difference between this and the body version? Can I not just use these drops on my body too?

I personally wouldn't recommend using one product for both areas.
The difference is the ingredients; the ingredients in a body product are very different to the ingredients in a facial product as those areas of the body require very different treatment.
For example the TAN-LUXE The Face Illuminating Self-Tan Drops contain Raspberry Seed Oil, Vitamin E and Aloe Vera which are targeted specifically to to the face because of their smoothing and skin boosting properties, which wouldn't necessarily have any effect on the body. Likewise, the body product might have ingredients that won't necessarily work well with the skin on the face.

Should you avoid your hairline and eyebrows with this? Or is it fine to apply all over/close to the edge of hair?
Hello,
It is advised to perform a patch test is done 24 hours prior to use of TAN-LUXE products.
Do not apply this onto broken, irritated or sensitive skin and also avoid contact with eyes.
It does not state that you must avoid contact with the hairline and eyebrows however, we would advise taking take when applying this near those areas.

What shade would be recommended for olive toned, tan skin?

In the TAN-LUXE The Face Illuminating Self-Tan Drops, the shade Medium/Dark would be great for tanned skin.
Mix 1-4 drops to your usual moisturiser, serum or face oil in the palm of your hand and apply evenly over the face. Additional drops of the product will add depth of colour and glow to the final result.
