Not ideal for fine curly hair
I bought this a couple months ago. Because of the diffuser, I'd assumed it would be ideal for my wavy/curly hair. I'd read amazing reviews about the product and it indeed is silent and powerful. However, it's way too powerful for my fine, curly hair. Even in the slowest setting, it leaves the curls undefined, gives my hair a very rough finish with damaged ends.
I've contacted customer service to try and exchange it for another model that would be more suitable, but they replied saying they don't "offer compensation for personal preference", which I don't believe is the case. So overall not a good purchasing experience - wouldn't recommend it.

Worth the investment
I have never bought my own hairdryer before now, I always borrowed my mum’s or sister’s. Last hairdryer was broken beyond repair so I searched online for ages for a decent one which would make me actually want to dry my hair. I have long thick wavy hair and when using this dryer with the concentrator nozzle I can get it so sleek I wouldn’t even need to use straighteners afterwards. I also love the diffuser. The attachments, when brand new, can be difficult to clip on and off when the hairdryer is cold - I turn the hairdryer on for a bit first. The whole presentation - box, bag, section clips etc is immaculate. It is a LOT to spend on a hairdryer that only has a 1 year guarantee but since my hair looks like I just stepped out of a salon then I’m super happy!

works lovely
I bought this a few weeks back, I can tell the difference from a standard hairdryer. my hair does feel more silky and smooth after drying and the settings are really easy to use. happy with the product and hopefully it will last me a long time.

Dry hair in a jiffy!
This was bought for me as a birthday present from my husband. I have to say it is fantastic. It dries my hair much quicker than my old drier and the quality and manufacture gives you confidence that it will last a long time. Brilliant buy.

OMG I have curly hair and with all my other driers my hair goes crunchy not with the GHD air!!! Drying time is a lot shorter too, and it's light weight and looks great too !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Really powerful and gives a great finish.
Love the blowdry brush and clips. Used it a few times now and gives a great shine to my hair. Certainly recommend.

Does the GHD air dryer come with a warranty?
As a GHD product, it comes with their manufacturers warranty. You register the product on the GHD website, with the unique code that will be on a label attached to the item.
