Keeps my skin clear and healthy
So I purchased this because I have PIE marks on my chin. Now I didn't think it did much because it was a clear liquid that dried down into nothing and I use various other skincare items.
HOWEVER, when it ran out, I decided not to repurchase because I had other serums to go through. Then BAM little tiny breakouts over my Tzone area. It was in that moment I realised that it does in fact do exactly what is states. I repurchased immediately, and my skin cleared up. A staple.
I purchased this for my best friend because she has oily skin and it truly regulated her sebum production. The price is what made me think the product wouldn't perform but I was wrong!

Didn't live up to the hype for me
This is ok. I feel like I have had a breakout since starting this but can't workout if it was linked to hormone levels or the product. I mainly wanted this in order to control my oily skin which is quite sensitive. I can't seem to find a product that can control shine without causing dryness or peeling. This Niacinamide did cause peeling, which then makes applying makeup very frustrating. I also didn't find that it did anything for my shine - I am just as shiny as before.
That said, I think the price is amazing. The packaging is smart and maybe it just didn't work well for me. I wouldn't doubt the quality of this.

Clears my stubborn acne scars
I’m one of the unlucky people who’s acne scars last longer than just ‘a couple of months’ after the breakout fades, and have been suffering from stubborn scars for years. Within the first week of using this on my face twice a day I noticed a clear improvement, and after a month of usage my scars are gone almost entirely!! My skin overall looks much healthier too, my oil is controlled and redness is reduced! The only thing I originally didn’t like was how shiny this made my face, but with continued use that fades. One bottle will last approx 2 months with use twice a day (I use one dropper-full at a time).

Brilliant for acne prone skin!
As somebody who has always suffered with severe, painful, cystic acne, even into adulthood, this product is amazing!! I apply it before bed and wake up with smoother, less oily skin. Any spots I had the night before are greatly reduced and calmed. I have tried every product/face wash/antibiotic/cream going to combat my awful skin but this is the one thing that has significantly improved it!! My skin is smoother, with less blemishes I never ever write reviews but this has changed my skin!! People now comment on how much better my face looks, I have less pain and less horrible comments aimed at me! Only negative is that it can be quite drying so I use it a few nights per week, alternating with other Ordinary products. Try it you will be amazed!

Excellent..Try This!!
Love this product. Have used this along with others from The Ordinary: Azaelic Acid, Salicylic Acid, Niacinamide and AHA Peeling Solution. Every one of those is totally oil free and sink in immediately. My skin has never felt or looked better. Spots are almost totally cleared and the horrid greasy look and feel has gone. Feel so much more confident now..so weary to have had to revisit all these kinds of products in my early 50s but very glad The Ordinary are now around to sort my skin out. Great product range at affordable prices! If you’re reading reviews then I’m sorry you also have skin issues but have no hesitation in recommending this wonderful range. Only use a pea size
It’s still early to give my full review as it’s only been 2 weeks but I have seen changes in my skin as it looks more alive , I’ve never struggled with bad skin but it was quite dull before . ( I brought this along with the inkeylist retinol and the dermalogica antioxidant hydra mist) which is what I’ve been using for the past 2 weeks and this combo has made me look so glowy. I use this after my mist and use a pea size amount while it still damp and you’ll see how nice your skin feels and looks after .

Great for combination skin!
As someone who has tried numerous products to try and control my combination skin I've never found anything that could control my oil whilst not drying out the rest of my face. Until I tried this little beauty.
I've been using it for about a week and already found a noticeable difference in my skin. My forehead is no longer always shiny due to excess oil and the rest of my face feels healthier and looks better as well. It's even good for getting rid of small blemishes.
Would definitely recommend!

Reduces oil
Always had acne & oily skin (now 62). Lately was on prescribed antibiotics for a year. Then read about Niacinamide & zinc which I started using in Sept 2017. Ditched the anti-b's in January and skin still as good as I could expect. Less oily and definitely fewer blemishes. Irritant-free too. Not a miracle cure but a great improvement. Product is good value and easy to use. Pea-sized blob patted over face is ample. Just let it settle and dry before loading any other layers. I have just bought another 4 bottles just in case The Ordinary stop making it, that's how much I like it.

I personally didn’t find that it did. For me it helped reduce breakouts and control oil without being too drying.

The Ordinary Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% can be used with the The Ordinary Azelaic Acid Suspension 10%, you would apply the Niacinamide first am only and then followed by the Azelaic Acid am and used without Niacinamide pm.
