My favourite sunscreen
I read lots of reviews for this physical sunscreen and they were really positive. It’s not a thin runny cream but it’s not too thick to apply either. When it’s applied to the skin there is absolutely no white cast and no greasy residue. I really love it and I’ll be purchasing it again when my second tube runs out. The size is good and the price is excellent for a zinc sunscreen.

HEALED my acne
Storytime- since 2021 I started to get spots and around the same time I started the skincare journey to help that, I developed acne. Never thought it was my SPF all along, which is super frustrating. I was using the Garnier spf 50 hyaluronic acid one. Super greasy, don't use it for the love of god. Anyway, two years later I have really terrible acne. It's SUPER inflamed, lots of little spots and persistent bigger, more cystic ones and it hurt like a mf. I was using Differin, Adapalene, azelaic acid etc, nothing was really helping. Three rounds of antibiotics and I was set to be put onto Roacutane. Well, in June I was prepping for holiday and buying things that I was nervous I'd run out of while abroad, one of them being SPF, but I am so last minute that the Garnier one I was looking for in boots was inaccessible because Boots had closed and only Superdrug was open. So in Superdrug they had it for sale for 12 quid for 50ml and the Bondi Sands zinc one was like 9 for 10ml more product. So I took the leap and went for it anyway. After one use, my skin overnight on holiday just transformed. Instantly less red, spots have disappeared off my cheeks now. It's just incredible. There is definitely a white cast, very scary and intimidating but if you apply it in bits, it's more manageable and it does rub in and disappear if you give it a moment to sink in. Zinc is a calming ingredient for inflammation and underrated in treating acne. But honestly this product changed my life. Also, makeup sits SO well on top of it, I didn't think it was too greasy either, unlike others, but remember to shake it well when you first get it and between uses so it's all combined. I just love this so much, really recommend it, especially to acne prone skin or people with acne and skin problems. I can't stress this enough. There also is a metallic smell to it, but it isn't too noticeable.

White cast alert!
Despite the bottle claiming an “invisible finish,” formula leaves a horrible, thick, white cast. I have fair skin and it makes me look ghostly. Not an elegant formula. I am disappointed and do not recommend.
