Surprised

Lovely
I bought this for myself but soon realised that my 46 year old skin could handle a stronger strength. I passed this onto my 25 year old daughter who loves it, her skin is lovely, fresh, and glowing. I bought the 5% for me which is better for my skin, which, looks very good since using these products

Great for skin - highly recommend
This product is working really well for me. I have been using it for a week so far and noticed the difference already. My skin looks brighter, younger, less tired. I am in my late 30s so this product is perfect as my skin is just starting to show signs of ageing. I would highly recommend, but do make sure you buy a SPF50+ face cream to use with it as your skin will be exposed more than usual.

I’ve tried The Ordinary’s products before and not been all that impressed. However, having read about the benefits of retinol on mature skin, I thought I’d give it a go. You only need a tiny amount as it’s really greasy. Fortunately my skin tends to dryness so that wasn’t a huge problem although having also applied it to my neck, I can feel that it is still quite slippery. Not a particularly nice feeling. I’ve not noticed any difference to my face, to be honest. I’m going to have to bin it as it’s just too greasy for me.

One of the best retinol products out there!
This is another product from the The Ordinary line that I keep repurchasing, because it is so effective and inexpensive. Unlike more expensive products, I'm not afraid to use it on my neck, on my hands and on other parts of my body that would otherwise be neglected, because I would not want to waste an expensive product on them. The only thing I don't love about it is the oily texture. It's not greasy and it absorbs quickly, but I'm not a fan of oily products in general, because I have oily skin. Otherwise, it's perfect!

Retinol at a very affordable price
I am in my late fifties and have been interested in retinol and have looked at many reviews. I decided to give it a go at 0.1% and have just moved on to 0.5%. I've only used 'The Ordinary' as frankly they're inexpensive, and an excellent product/company/ I apply at night, after serum and before a night moisturiser

I suffer with oily skin and acne. I have read that retinol helps with acne and oily skin. Will this particular product help with this? I'm worried it will block my pores and cause more spots because it's an oil. Thank you

Is great price point for the retinol.
