Broke me out initially
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I noticed after a few days of using this product, I started breaking out with a few spots on my cheeks and on my chin. I rarely get spots on my cheeks so I think it must be the product that’s caused it. However, I’m new to using retinol and have read that it can initially make you break out - something called a skin purge. I continued using the product every other day and didn’t get any more spots so I am going to continue using it. The product itself is really nice, glides on the skin smoothly. It Les a small bottle but you really don’t need much at all to cover your face. A little goes a long way.

A nice addition but no game changer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve really liked using the CeraVe face serum, but I likely wouldn’t go out of my way to continue doing so. Whilst the serum made my skin feel nice and did seem to help with minor blemishes, there wasn’t anything for me that set it above others I’ve used previously. The consistency is nice, application is easy and not greasy or sticky, and it absorbs quickly, but as do plenty of other similar products. I have no complaints what so ever about this product, I just simply expected a more visible and noticeable result or some difference from changing my usual serum out for this.

Decent first retinol for a beginner
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using retinol for a while and my skin seems to respond well to it. What sets this serum apart from the retinol products I have used before is the texture. The light serum texture is easily absorbed and left no greasy residue. I experienced no ill effects from using the serum and used it nightly. I have a collection of nasty spots on my chin and the serum made such a difference to them, reducing them in size and reducing the marks left. Overall I would recommend this serum and would repurchase as found it easy to use with quick acting effects on my skin

Amazed at the result
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a sensitive oily face skin prone to acne and usually I was avoiding the scrubs as my face would break and dry out. When I started using the CeraVe Resurfacing Retinol Serum my face was showing some post acne wounds and once applying the serum, I was feeling a sensation of hot and the serum was absorbed quickly by my skin. After three days the wounds would appear as blisters and disappear within a couple of days. Now, I’m using a gentle scrub every night after cleaning my face and before applying the serum, and I don’t have to worry that my face would show some break outs. I have the face skin I always dreamed for finally.

Does wonders!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] CeraVe Resurfacing Retinol Serum is a product I would reccomend to anyone without a doubt who struggles with blemish prone skin and acne prone skin!
After applying it overnight for 2 weeks straight I can clearly see my chin which was always full of spots and blemishes, has changed for better. Spots seems flatter and my skin feels definitely smother. Serum consistency is perfect for me as it is moisturising my skin but without leaving it greasy and shiny. It just feels nice to touch! After I finish this bottle I will be definitely buying another one.

Powerful ingredients in a gentle formula
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I previously thought CeraVe only made products for dry, sensitive skin. However this new resurfacing serum for post-acne marks sounded tailor-made for me. I’ve always been prone to blemishes, so I was really excited to try this product! I have avoided retinol products until now, worried that they may be too strong, but with this serum I don’t need to worry. It is so gentle and hasn’t made me break out at all. It’s also super lightweight and fragrance free! I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a powerful yet gentle solution for post-acne marks, visible pores and textured skin. I can’t wait to see the long-term results!

Excellent way to beginning your retinol journey
I am a newbie to retinol (far too late) at 49 the signs of aging, pigmentation bla bla bla were getting me down. This has made my skin super soft, plumped, less pores & over all very much more glowy! I’m am definitely going to repurchase & then move up to a higher dose. It has definitely improved my skin & I have sensitive skin but no reaction to this lovely stuff! Great way to start your journey without breaking out or breaking the bank! Love these products!!

Replenished and fresh faced
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I applied the serum every night before bed to try restore the areas of my face that suffer with large pores/scars. As I don't wear foundation, I felt thus definitely aided in rejuvenating my scarred (from acne/spots) areas. I feel I look fresher overall, minimised pores without feeling 'greasy' or having fry skin. This serum left my skin feeling hydrated when I woke but did slightly burn when initially applying.
My skin has definitely improved in terms of minimised pores, although I plan to continue using to see if the effects are longer term.
