Really effective but not on all areas
I've used this product for years, it really is effective because it is strong- the slight peeling on your face shows it works. However I just cannot use it on my neck & decollete where the skin is thinner and more sensitive ( it causes rashes, itching etc..) therefore for me it is a bit pointless as I want an all over treatment. I can only use this product on my hands & face only.

Good for my mature skin
I began using retinol last year and stupidly used it daily! However, I realised I needed to build up gradually and I’ve noticed my skin looks fresher, using this in combo with B5, matrixyl 6 and occasional AHA/BHA. I only use PC and Timeless and it’s all worked a treat

It's a great retinol,
It's a great retinol, it doesn't cause breakouts, it does peel a bit but that's normal for me, so I use a moisturising gel before and it works great. I would buy it again and again. The only downside is the price, and that it keeps going up.

Great all rounder, not too harsh
i love this product. Within a month made my skin visible glowing. I used to have acne and very oil skin, now have kind of more normal skin and very seldom acne and this product suits my skin very well. I use a moisturiser after it to prevent too much dryness. The first few weeks I only used it every other night, now my skin is used to it and I can use it daily. On the expensive side but lasted me a whooping 5 months and was much better than other products such as the ordinary's.

I've used this 5 days a week for just over two weeks. Quite a bit of dry / peeling skin to begin with but now much smoother skin. You can feel it 'working'. I've only ever used The ordinary retinol and compared to that this works much better.

Visible results with consistent use
I’m 39 and I have pale, sensitive skin that’s prone to dehydration and redness. I was sceptical as to whether my skin would tolerate retinol but having accustomed it first with the 0.3% version I had minimal issues adjusting to the 1%. My fine lines are less visible, more skin tone and texture is and my makeup sits well on my skin. I have had multiple compliments on my complexion lately which I put down to a combination of sticking with this and layering a rich moisturiser and a nourishing oil over it each night, once it has absorbed fully.

My favourite retinol
I love how creamy this formula is and it’s not oily at all. I love using retinol but a lot of products I have are in an oil formula and I’m not always keen to use oil at night. This one is perfect!
