amazing!
I bought this around 2 weeks ago now and have been using it every day since i got it, normally i mix it in with my moisturiser before makeup and before i go to bed. under makeup it looks great! a but of a dewy look and also i have noticed my skin to being clearer as i had mostly scars on my face than active spots, only downside is the smell however i have seen some people say they love the smell so it could just be me and don’t let it out you off! because it’s a great product and you really can’t smell it all too much

Breaks me out like crazy
I have very dry skin so break outs are not really an issue for me in general and I’ve certainly never been broken out by an oil.
I’d heard a ton of great things about this oil smoothing out people skin so I thought I’d give it a go.
It only took a couple of days to start breaking me out in the most horrible under-the-skin bumps and irritated pimples. I used it for about two weeks hoping it was just a purge but the spots just kept getting worse. At this point I don’t even care if it’s a purge, I’d rather use something that doesn’t do that to me.
In saying that I’ve heard some great things about this oil so at the price I don’t see any reason why you shouldn’t give it a go.

AH-MAZING product
I am actually in awe of this stuff. I’ve been using it two weeks today after I’ve washed my face before bed, so it sinks into my skin overnight. Before this stuff I’ve always had blemished uneven tone and texture skin and the improvement since I’ve been using this oil is insane. The texture on my face is becoming smoother, and I only have one or two spots left on my face! It’s even cleared up some scarring I had from acne when I was younger. So so impressed with this and will definitely be repurchasing when I’m all out. Highly recommend

This is my first rose hip oil and I'm so impressed with this one. It really makes your skin soft and glowy, it evens out your skin tone. I'm not sure if it is because of this oil but I don't broke out lately, like nothing at all. My skin is sensitive/combination and my skincare is really simple so it has to be thanks to this product. I use it every night instead of any cream. In the morning my skin is looking very healthy and moisturized. Price is good too! Highly recommended!

The most beautiful skin saving facial oil. This has completely transformed my skin. From acne scaring purple, pink and dark brown scars reduce in size and do disappear to the point of feeling confident in my skin for the first time in years. I have suffered from acne scarring through my teens and twenties. This bottle is magic! Will always have a bottle of this. I use in the evening before bed and my skin is heeled the next day. With continued use this helps with overall dryness and complexion. My skin never felt so soft!

Must have for combo skin!
I have really enjoyed using this oil from The Ordinary. I have combination and sensitive skin which can be difficult to balance, but this product moisturized my dry areas while nourishing oilier ones. I haven't broken out or have had any irritation! Definitely a must-have for many skin types.

I can’t fault this product!!
Having been told of how amazing this product was I decided to try it, and was blown away. It’s everything I want in a face oil- moisturising, balancing, calming, non sticky, and smells beautiful, at an incredible price. I can honestly say that I have used oils 3 or 4 times the price which have not delivered half of what this does. Will repurchase and repurchase and repurchase again!

This is the second time i've purchased simply because it is an amazing product for such a great price. I bought it to help with fading acne scars and it works well and leaves my skin glowing and smooth, without clogging up my pores.

Hi Would it be fine if I use the Paul’s choice 2%bha exfoliating liquid, then Q+A moisturiser following with this facial oil?? Thank you in advance
The oil is organic so there would be no harm! Better to use one or the other in order to avoid overloading the skin. Let your skin get used to using one or the other. Maybe use it other every day if you really need to.
Don’t want to confuse the skin with too many products at one time!

Hello At night, can I use The Ordinary Rose Hip Seed oil with The Ordinary Vitamin C suspension/HA Spheres together and is the Vit C used first
Hi there.
We would recommend using the Vitamin C in the morning (works better used during the day) and then use the rose hip seed oil either afterwards instead of your moisturiser or better yet still use the rose hip in the evening after all your serums, as this can be a bit heavy for the day time.

Can this oil be used with benzoyl peroxide? I'm also thinking of getting hyaluronic acid too. Could both be used alongside BP or would you recommend something else to help with the dry skin the BP is causing? Thanks in advance!
Hey, this oil is amazing but oils are occlusive meaning they wont hydrate the skin. Ingredoemts such as hyaluronic acid, glycerine and aloe vera are humectants meaning they will hydrate and moisturize the skin. To treat dryness I would use the hyaluronic acid serum, then a thicker moisturizer to seal it in, then the oil on top of dry patches to truly seal all products in at night. Obviously patch test the products but I love all the ones you have mentioned ☺️ also if dryness is bad always try bp on top of your moisturizer to dilute it slightly, i still find it effective! Hi could you tell me if I am doing right. I apply glycolic acid toner and then apply buffet, niacinamide and hyaluronic acid and then caffeine acid for my under eyes then apply i apply moustriser and then rose hip oil am I doing right?

Sounds like you've got a great routine there!
The only thing we would advise changing is the order the serums are applied!
We would advise to always apply hyaluronic acid as your first serum as this product can even help boost results of other products applied on top of it.

Yes you can use The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 alongside the The Ordinary 100% Organic Cold-Pressed Rose Hip Seed Oil.
I would recommend using The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 first, then apply your moisturiser, and the Pressed Rose Hip Seed Oil on top.
