Useless for dry skin
I have a dry skin type.
I don’t know why they call this NMF, it’s just a moisturiser, and not a very good one. It is one of those thick white emollient type moisturisers but this one is unique because it’s strangly clumpy. It does absolutely nothing to increase the hydration of my skin, it doesn’t even really moisturise as well as the thick texture would suggest. It feels so uncomfortable and greasy and take ages to sink in.
In short, feels gross, does nothing, not even worth the low price.

Ok but not great
Ok simple moisturising cream, soaks in instantly without residues but on contrary to description is very light. My skin is normal and very maintained, tolerant but cannot see/feel any moisturising factors. Was expecting higher level of moisture, will not repurchase it again (unless you have oily or very young skin 18-24yrs) otherwise must be mixed with few drops of oils in it before application. Tried even the sandwich method or doubling layers but no difference; starts pulling off. Good for décolleté but not that ‘super’ if looking for nice moisture. Anyhow this can be tweaked as mentioned above x

Spotty
I use 3 other Ordinary products and bought this so that I am using all the same brand on my face.
Unfortunately, it doesn’t work for me because I had a really bad breakout and so I stopped using it and the spots cleared up.
I’m not too unhappy though because with the low prices of this brand you can avoid to make a mistake and not be left hugely out of pocket.
I am going to use a non-comedogenic moisturiser instead as they do not block pores and cause breakouts.

Good purchase.
I bought this for myself and one for my daughter as she suffers with oily combination skin which breaks out with spots, even though she is 38 year of age, so though we would give it a try. The texture was a bit thick when I first put it on my face, but then I read that you have to put your serum on first, then apply the cream, and once I did this it then sank in OK.

Great product.
This product is great. I used it alongside the Hyaluronic acid serum and it keeps my skin very well hydrated. Normally on holiday I suffer with really dry skin due to suncreams, chlorine etc but this holiday I used this and the serum morning and night and my skin felt fantastic and not dry at all. Would highly recommend!!!

Hmm it’s ok
I know this product has many good reviews but for me it was not the best. It was ‘ok’ it was a little too thick for me and I felt that it sat heavy on my skin. It didn’t sink into my skin as I’d hoped and I was a little disappointed with the overall performance. I wouldn’t buy it again.

Amazing
The Ordinary’s range as a brand is fantastic, however I have got on exceptionally well with this product so far! For the price it does the trick, I use this morning and night and is well suited for my oily skin as although it moisturises it doesn’t leave me feeling extra oily, which beforehand I would have done waking up in the morning. After applying at night I have woken up with super smooth skin which is unusual for my acne-prone skin. Really pleased with this product.

It's recommended to apply The Ordinary Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA after serums, it is for effective surface hydration, which is the last skincare step.
