Amazing!!
I have very sensitive skin, so Vitamin C serums, even at lower pencentages, was a no-go for me. I first heard about this serum on youtube as an alternative antioxidant serum, but was skeptical and a bit scared as The Ordinary's website said that 3% is higher than most formulations.
Thoughts after using this for 3 weeks:
- absolutely no sensation when I put it onto my face. Sometimes even my moisturisers sting my face a little bit. I mix 4 drops into my moisturiser every morning.
- I have noticed an improvement in my acne and redness. I can't attribute this solely to the serum but I definitely think my skin is benefitting from the addition of an antioxidant.
- very lightweight. Layers well underneath any sunscreen and makeup.
- no scent at all (apart from very faint natural scent. not the most pleasant but I got used to it after 5 uses)
This is a water-free formula, so you definitely don't need a lot. Amazed at how much of an impact it's having for such an affordable price!

Great combined with vit c suspension + HA spheres
Been struggling to find a vitamin c that works for me but mixing this with the ordinary vitamin c suspension + HA spheres has been the perfect solution. Stops it feeling gritty, been using for a few weeks now and my skin feels smoother and looks brighter

Really like this product, works well with vitamin c or over retinol and feels like it seals in moisture because of its slightly oily consistency.

Skin smoothing
I used to use this a few years ago with Granative retinoid in squalane and my skin was looking absolutely amazing. Super smooth and super tight (I am 41 and I look younger but this was like a miracle combination). Sadly I started to develop extreme sensitivity to it (as some other people do/did). It is a strong product and better to start slowly and not over do it. I am happy to report that it works really well after I found the courage to order it again.
