Can cause irritation
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The product itself is lovely but I had to give it 3 stars as it seriously irritated my skin. My cheeks were red and hot for hours after using it and the issue only subsided when I stopped using Niacinamide! I don’t think there’s anything wrong with the product personally and it took me a lot of researching to find out that - although it’s supposed to minimise redness - it can actually cause this. But I wanted to leave it in a review in case anyone else has a similar experience, maybe this review will help them! Because I never considered this active ingredient to be the one causing issues!

Am I doing something wrong?
I USED to like this product, but now I find that this is irritating my skin with a burning sensation that lasts between 3 and five minutes. This is regular. It was destroyed my skin so now spots don't heal quickly and new ones appear fast. I causes products i layer over it to sting my face as well. The stinging is in the middle of my cheeks, on each side of my nose, just below my eyes and is only ever there. I think it might have destroyed my skin barrier and I will never use again, the affects have got worse with time. When I stopped using it I can already notice a difference and my skin is healing quicker and doesn't give of a flushed appearance any more.

Burnt my face
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I heard so many good reviews about this cleanser and hoped that it would clean my blackheads, but after using it on the evenings for 1 week only I have a burnt, red and itchy skin. I have never had such a reaction to the products I have used before on my face, and didn't even know that my skin can be so sensitive. Glad for people who can use this product, but it is definetely not for me. Now I have read some 1 star comments and I see totally the same problem for others, the skin is very dry, itchy and red, especially on my cheeks, where I had dryer skin.

Took care of my redness & breakouts
This stuff will forever be on my ride or die list! Due to perimenopause, my skin became something I did not recognize. Even in my teenage years I never broke out except for maybe one or two pimples during PMS. Adult acne is no joke! My face also became severely red & angry looking. When I read that niacinamide was a treatment for both of those things, I couldn’t snatch it up quick enough. I am so thankful for this stuff! My SKIN is thankful for this stuff! If you suffer from redness or breakouts, do your skin a favor, & add this to your skincare routine, pronto! It’s a game changer!

Great! But package is leaking
I think this product is really good. I've used for 1-2 months now and I can definitely see a difference. My skin is less oily and red. However every now and then I still experience my skin getting oily but it is not as often or as much as before! The only bad thing about the product is the packaging. The product some how leaks a bit through the lid which is really annoying. If I have it laying down there is a chance that it the outside of the bottle will also get covered in the product. I also experienced this with the Hyaluronic Acid when it had the same lid.

Can't live without it!
I've been using this serun since start of 2020 when it was recommended to me and I use alongside inkey list salicylic acid cleanser . They are my dynamic duo! My skin was so oily and full of breakouts. This transformed my skin with consistently use. AM and PM use is a must. The texture is sticky at first but nothing compared to its competitor. And it absorbs quickly.

Acne at 30 - Game changer
I made it until 30 and never had a problem with my skin. And then BAM acne. I’ve been struggling for almost a year and whatever new expensive product I bought would work for a few days but then make it worse... I’ve made adjustments to my diet ect but even that didn’t really help. I thought I’d try this as a lot of people reccomended it for acne. And I am SO pleased I did! It has evened out my skin texture, reduced acne scarring and slowed down new spots. It’s litterally the only thing to have made a lasting improvement. Try it!

Will repurchase forever!
This is the best serum I’ve used to date, and have tried a range of them hoping to control my oil and acne prone skin. I also have some redness and rosacea on my cheeks. This is lightweight, melts into my skin and really, truly takes down my redness. I also notice that my overall skin texture has improved with less active breakouts since using. I apply this after washing with the salicylic acid face wash (another great product), and then apply my daily moisturizer / spf. It’s small, but mighty. And for those who have voiced concerns about the packaging collecting film over the opening, it only takes a wipe once a week to come clean. I’ve never had an issue with the cap becoming clogged. This product is fantastic and I’ve seen real results. Very happy I found it!
