My skin is sensitive, combination/oily and blemish prone. I have been looking for a cheaper replacement for the Dermalogica Ultracalming Cleanser. I was nervous about using a foaming cleanser on sensitive skin but since this was sold as perfect for my skin type I gave it a go. It's a bit too harsh I think, it cleans rally well but leaves skin a bit tight and dry feeling and just isn't gentle enough. I use this with the LRP Effaclar Duo treatment and the Hydreane Riche cream and I do get some stinging, but it does also seem to be reducing the spots I get. It just doesn't feel quite gentle enough so the search goes on.

My HG face cleanser
For ref, I have combination/oily, acne prone skin. My friend mentioned about LRP years ago and I've never looked back. This is the only cleanser that I will not stop using. After 8 years of using LRP products, this is my all time favourite. I also use this in my "double cleanse routine" (after cleansing oil) at night. My skin feels clean, soft and not too dry afterwards. It has a clean scent. I do still have active acne but it comes down to hormone imbalances, diet and stress. Overall an effective cleanser that is suitable for combination and oily skin types. If you like gel/foam cleansers and want to invest in good skin care, then you will love this.

Just had to review!
I have never written a review in my life but I felt I had to with this product. I have always struggled with my skin. My skin is very sensitive and dries out easily, therefore I have to be careful what products I use due to their ingredients. Even the most expensive skin care brands do not agree with my skin.
I suffer from overly sensitive skin that can dry out quickly, enlarged pores on my cheeks, teeny tiny annoying blackheads on my chin/nose/forehead and spots around my mouth, temples of my head and sides of my head and sometimes theses can be big nasty cystic spots. I must stress though my skin goes through phases and the above description is my skin at it's worse. I also go through phases of my skin being generally clear and these spots and blemishes can often be easily hidden with makeup. Therefore, I cannot suggest this product for acne as I do not know if it would work as I have no personal experience.
However, generally no matter what product I tried my spots would go and my skin would dry out or my spots would stay and my skin would hydrate. BUT this product is amazing (SO FAR). I've been using it every night for two weeks and have seen a significant improvement in my skin. I have personally not tried it in the morning as well, like it suggests as I have had such bad experiences with over using a product and it drying my skin out. However, I do believe this product is fine to use morning and night as it's not harsh.
I use the a Roche-Posay Effaclar Purifying Foaming Gel at night then I follow with La Roche-Posay Serozinc Spray 150ml then the La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo[+] 40ml and sometimes I put the La Roche-Posay Effaclar H Soothing Moisturiser 40ml on top, because my skin is getting drier as the weather is getting colder.
I feel so much more confident since using La Roche-Posay! My makeup looks better when I go out, my face is less sore and I'm more confident going to work and out and about with no makeup on.
ONLY downside, the foaming gel and the effacer duo have a very strong flower smell, like peonies, but its momentarily bearable as the results are amazing.

Great.... The best wash ever
I have been using this for 1 week. I know it's not a long time.... But I have already seen massive improvements. I have been using it along with the La Roche Posay effaculer duo+ And omg it works miracles... absolutely love it. Can't wait to see more progress. Already of 1 week use I have got rid of all the spot marks on one side of my of my cheek. And almost all the other side. You need to buy both these products... really good price too.

I'm in LOVE
I purchased this gel after I was bought an electric face brush (I can't remember what to call it, but it looks like a giant electric toothbrush head, only with soft bristles). I have oily/combination skin and sometimes get t-zone spots when it's my period. I used this gel once a week at first, as an end of week skin treat, but now I use it a few times a week. For my past two cycles, I've had no t-zone spots and I swear that's down to this gel. It feels lovely being vibrated into my skin (that sounds wrong!) and it leaves my skin feeling sooo soft and plump. A little goes a long way, so that's how I justify the price. I'd be interested in using other products from this brand.

Like giving your skin a hug!
I have been using this product for a while now after developing mild acne and have found that its one of the most comfortable products to use. By comfortable I mean that it has a very mild scent and leaves the skin feeling generally very pleasant. For years I have had a problem with using skin products that are too harsh for my skin such as daily exfoliators and products with alcohol in them so this is refreshing and I would definitely repurchase in the future. This products lasts FOREVER by the way. A little really does go a long way and every drop of it is quality so you can rest assured that you are purchasing a good quality product.
I have left one star out because while it is a generally really nice product, in terms of a making a difference to my skin, it doesn't feel like it is necessarily doing much which makes its mildness a double-edged sword. Its a good go to facial wash but if you are looking for something that really combats acne, this product just seems to me like an extra in this range and is not super necessary to your skincare routine. HOWEVER, I would still repurchase as it is a good go-to product for a good facial wash in general.

Only product that really works
This is the only face wash I have found that really does what it says. I don't have particularly bad skin but there are those few days every month where it seems my whole face is breaking out with white heads or those spots that stay under the skin and hurt!
I use this every day and every night and I have noticed the quality of my skin has improved massively - it looks more even and I look more fresh faced in the morning. I still get the occasional spot but if I use this wash and follow up with the moisturiser then it disappears almost overnight! I don't get those under the skin spots anymore either!

Miracle worker!
It's taken about 10 years of trial and error, but I've finally found a face wash that minimises my pores, reduces oil and clears blemishes. I've tried lots of more expensive options, but this beats them all.
