Rated 5 out of 5 by from It’s a dream to use and it seems to work I’ve bought the retinol eye cream twice now. The first time the formulation split and I read some other reviews about this too. But they seem to have fixed this now. The cream is smooth add luxurious without being greasy. As for efficacy, all I can say is I am 47 and should be getting more and more wrinkles each year but my wrinkle status has even improved in the year I’ve been using it. I put it around my eyes, my frowny spot between my eyebrows and around my mouth. Tip: do the mouth area after brushing yr teeth or you’ll wash it all off again. I have bought it as gifts for my sisters too

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great budget retinol I bought this product as I'm trying to cut down my spending on beauty products. It more than beats the non-budget friendly retinol eye cream I was using before. My fine lines around my eyes are less noticeable, and my eye area looks plumper and brighter. My one tiny problem is the consistency is a little thick, as there's retinol in there I don't use it in the day, so haven't tried it under make-up but I think the consistency might make things difficult there. Overall a really great, purse-friendly option.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Reduction in fine lines I've been using this eye cream for around 2 weeks now, about 3-4 times a week. I have definitely seen a reduction, a small one, in the fine lines that were starting to form around my eyes. In terms of dark circles, I'm yet to notice a difference but I'm sure that will take some longer use. Building my tolerance up slowly by not using it everyday as the skin around my eyes tends to react quite badly (red, sore itchy - dermatitis like reaction) and so far it's been fine. Excited to see what this eye cream may do for my dark circles.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Instant! I’m on week 4 of usage. I didnt start slow and just hopped right in applying nightly as my skin isn't very sensitive/reactive to new products. My issue was long time dark circles and prominent lines under my eyes. I’m only 30, and dont have any real visible aging signs but figured i’d get ahead of it all now. And this stuff was working within the first week!My dark circles have just about disappeared, I’m talking a good 60% gone. And the lines while still there, have gotten smaller in size/length. I’m thinking another month or so I’ll see the final product of using this cream. For the price it can’t be beat, the results are there. I’ll keep using long may it continue

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing! I started using this now that I’m 26, I’ve always been told to stay away from eye creams but started noticing some changes during lockdown. This is a game changer for me and I smoked and had some ageing around my mouth and I use it there too and it had made such a massive difference, around my eyes feel soo much better, more firm, plump, fine lines smoothed so happy and for around my mouth just helps so much!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from opposite effect on fine lines I had exactly the same experience as this person who wrote this review : "This eye cream actually seems to be giving me more wrinkles/ or making existing more visible? I have always taken really good care of my skin and have been using eye moisturizers for years. Heading into my late 30s, I thought it would be time to try a retinol eye cream. I only started to see wrinkles after using this product. I stopped using it, then a month later I started using it again (thinking my experience was all in my head). Sure enough, after a few days of use I have notice some wrinkles appearing that weren’t there before."

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not for Me I honestly wanted to love this product because, I love a couple other products from this brand. I don’t have overly sensitive skin, and this product not only dried out my under eye, but it also burned my skin as well. My eye was left tender, itchy, red and puffy for over a week. I honestly didn’t know if it was this product or another I added to my skincare routine, so I stopped using both products until I healed and added the products back in one at a time starting with the eye cream... the same thing thing happened from before with every symptom I previously experienced. It’s a big no for me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It actually works! A few years back I worked at a horribly stressful company! No adequate sleep! My under eyes broke! And kept getting worse! To the point that teachers, drs, family, therapist would question if I was in a fight or if someone beat me! I tried and desperately tried eye cream after eye cream! This was recommended by a few Skincare Youtubers! I am so glad I tried this! I used every night for 30 days religiously! The darkness under my eyes hasn't completely disappeared! But it's such a huge improvement! My under eye area looks how it used to look with concealer on! Definitely re-buying!

Hi, looking at purchasing this for my husband as he is suffering from dark circles and excema like irritated peeling around the eye lid. Would this product require an spf to be used in addition?

Asked by: Rajveen
Retinol is recommended to be used at night and a high SPF should be used during the day as skin becomes more sensitive to UBV and UVA rays. Retinol can make skin peel, The Inkey List Brighten I Eye cream may be a better option for your husband.
